I can remember the days when banners worked really well and then I remember when they stopped working as good when people started getting banner blindness.

Sometimes it’s great to get a new perspective on things. I knew banner ads were still raking in major clicks but your insights made me think of other places to look to advertise besides the ‘big boys’. Great content, yet very simple to digest!

Another source of traffic that you should consider, would be email banners on newsletters, better known as email drops.

when deciding if to approach a blog owner to ask about adding banners you can go to quantcast.com to see how many uniques they get each moneth. it will also suggest similar sites and their visits.

That’s good stuff. There are also blog advertising networks out there where you can buy advertising across several targeted blogs. Of course, I recommend drilling down as well to find the really good ones.

I had been researching and digging down to find some very specific sites that accept Adsense ads for my primary business. Dropped out of the Corporate World on purpose and flying high. Great Video. Thanks for sharing these great yet simple strategies on where to place banners ads for cheap on high ranking sites. I like the idea of finding top ranked blogs for one’s keywords, and asking the owners (who are often unaware of their high ranking) if they would place a banner on their front page for a one-month test.
